Faculty and students at UNMC College of Nursing have access to a number of excellent resources to support them in their research and scholarship journeys.

Prominent among these are our staff among the meadfield Nursing Research Center.

These staff are dedicated to helping our researchers with all manner of research activities, from Grant Management puzzle submissions to statistical needs and research development activities.

In addition to these college level resources, we have a number of university wide resources.

Some more typical resources include our in house institutional review board, our Research Information and Technology Office, and our office of sponsored programs.

Beyond those somewhat more traditional resources, we have a number of notable channels designed to promote faculty collaboration.

These include our bread and Pamela Buffett cancer center, center for reducing health disparities, Great Plains idea center for translational and clinical research, and our Olson Center for Women's Health.

All of these resources are housed in state of the art facilities with a statewide reach spanning five campuses in Omaha.

Our campus is conveniently co located with our teaching hospital, The Nebraska Medical Center.

This greatly facilitates our researchers ability to balance clinical and office based research activities.

We are also proud to have a number of core facilities supporting a range of research functions, from nanomaterials to bio imaging, from animal modeling to proteomics, backed by a diverse funding portfolio.

Our top sponsors include the National Institutes for Health and the Health Resources and Services Administration, with no fewer than 40 projects ongoing at any given time across our five pillars, there is no shortage of opportunities for innovation and collaboration by faculty and students.
